About
The Tasmanian devil is a stocky carnivorous marsupial with one of the strongest bites for its size. It scavenges efficiently, helping remove carrion from the landscape, and communicates with growls, screeches, and scent marks. A contagious facial tumor disease has severely reduced wild populations, making insurance populations and disease research essential.
