Animal World is a free animal encyclopedia website and app. You can browse animal profiles, species facts, animal-of-the-day content, and other public educational pages without creating an account.

If you create an account, we use your account information to provide member features such as your profile, saved preferences, and future account-based features.

When you sign up with email and password, we collect your username, email address, password hash, provider type, and basic account timestamps. We do not store your plain-text password.

If you use a social login button, such as Google or Facebook when available, we receive the basic account details the provider shares with us, such as your email address, name, provider ID, and avatar URL.

We also collect normal technical information through the site, including page views, clicks, JavaScript errors, Core Web Vitals, device/browser details, and similar analytics data used to understand and improve the product.

We use account information to create and secure your Animal World account, sign you in, show your account page, and operate account-related features.

We use analytics to understand which pages and features are useful, diagnose bugs, improve performance, and keep the free encyclopedia experience reliable.

Animal World does not send marketing or advertising emails. If you subscribe to the Animal of the Day, we use your email address for one purpose: sending you that daily email. If we send email for any other reason, it is limited to transactional or service-related messages, such as account, security, verification, support, or donation-related notices.

If you subscribe to the Animal of the Day, we store your email address and the unsubscribe link state until you unsubscribe. We do not share subscriber email addresses with anyone.

Animal World may offer optional donations to help keep the encyclopedia free. Donations are handled through a hosted checkout provided by our payment platform.

Payment card details are entered on the hosted checkout page and are processed by the payment provider. Animal World may receive donation records such as amount, payment status, and checkout session details, but we do not handle or store full card numbers in this app.

We share information only with service providers needed to run Animal World, such as authentication, hosting, analytics, database, email, and payment infrastructure. These providers process information for operational purposes, not for Animal World marketing campaigns.

We keep account information while your account is active or as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security records.

You can browse most public encyclopedia content without an account. You can also choose not to make optional donations.

If you have an Animal World account, you can request deletion through account settings when available. Deleting your account removes the account record from Animal World, although some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, payment accounting, or legal compliance.

If you subscribed to the Animal of the Day, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that removes your address immediately.
