About
Dyeing poison dart frogs advertise chemical defenses with bright blue, yellow, white, or black patterns. Their skin alkaloids come from tiny arthropod prey in the wild. Males guard eggs and transport tadpoles to small pools, making humid intact rainforest microhabitats important.
