About
The wandering albatross has the longest wingspan of any living bird and can travel immense distances with minimal flapping. It rides ocean winds using dynamic soaring, searching for squid, fish, and carrion far from land. Slow breeding and accidental capture on fishing lines make this magnificent seabird vulnerable.
