About
The ocelot is a medium-sized wild cat patterned with bold rosettes and stripes. It hunts mostly at night, moving quietly through dense cover to catch small vertebrates. Although widespread, local populations depend on connected habitat and are vulnerable where roads and forest clearing fragment their range.
